Welcome to San Francisco! We hope you enjoy your stay here and wanted to recommend some things to do and see. The St Regis and other recommended hotels are all conveniently located walking distance from many of our favorite SF attractions, including: SF MOMA - Located right next door to the St Regis on 3rd between Howard and Mission Westfield Shopping Center - A mecca for shoppers with over 170 retail stores, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and a VERY gourmet food court (approx Market at 4th) Union Square - Just a couple blocks up from Westfield, the shopping continues with more stores including Macys, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Barneys. Ferry Building and Farmers Market - Located on the water, the Ferry Building is home to artisan shops and restaurants. On Saturdays from 8am-2pm, the busy Farmers Market is a wonderful place to stroll around, have coffee, taste fresh produce, eat oysters, stop for a glass of wine, or just enjoy the view. Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 - Hop on a cable car and take it to the end and you will find yourself in Fisherman's Wharf... one of our favorite parts of town to play tourist. If you want to tour Alcatraz, make sure to make a reservation far in advance... it books up very quickly. Chinatown - Visit the largest Chinatown outside of Asia (entrance on Grant at Bush)
